Crecer en California me inculcó el amor por los diferentes paisajes, y la increíble variedad que existe incluso dentro de mi propio estado inspiró mi pasión por viajar a otros lugares.
A lo largo de los años viví y pasé tiempo en India, Asia y Tailandia. Esas experiencias marcaron el resto de mi vida.
Como resultado, tengo amigos y seres queridos en muchos lugares que siempre tendrán un lugar en mi corazón.
Actualmente vivo con mi pareja, originaria de la India, y nuestro hijo de 3 años en una pequeña cabaña en la costa norte de California con vista al océano. Es mi lugar favorito.

Me gusta crear con retazos de tela india de mis antiguos saris de seda, así como utilizar cuero reciclado que de otro modo se desperdiciaría, e imaginar nuevos diseños y creaciones con estos materiales.

Mis diseños se inspiran en los maravillosos paisajes naturales en los que tengo la suerte de vivir. La sensación del sol, el mar, la luna, las estrellas, las olas, la vida marina, las secuoyas, los helechos y las flores silvestres de California, así como un poco del encanto, la belleza y los colores de la India, son lo que intento incorporar a mis diseños y piezas.

Para todas mis joyas con piedras preciosas, utilizo piedras naturales de alta calidad, sin colorantes, y ganchos hipoalergénicos de plata de ley 925 o chapados en oro para los pendientes. También me encanta buscar y usar telas o cueros vintage o reciclados, así como retales, para mis pendientes y bolsos.

Cuando no estoy creando cosas, persigo a mi hijo de 3 años por las playas, recorro senderos inexplorados en la Costa Perdida, toco el violonchelo, fotografío flores silvestres y leo la poesía de Kabir, Rumi, Gibran, Mary Oliver y otros.

Growing up in California gave me a love for different landscapes, and the incredible variety within even my own state inspired my love of travel to other places as well.
Over the years I lived and spent time in India, Asia, and Thailand. Those were experiences that shaped the rest of my life.
As a result I have friends and loved ones in many places who will always have a place in my heart.
Currently I live with my partner, who is from India originally, and our 3 year old son in a little cottage on the California north coast with a view of the ocean. It is my happy place.

I enjoy creating with Indian fabric remnants from my old silk sarees and also using reclaimed leather that would otherwise be wasted, and dreaming up new designs and creations with these materials.

My designs are inspired by the amazing natural landscapes I am lucky enough to live in. The feeling of the sun, sea, moon, stars, waves, ocean life, redwoods, ferns, and wildflowers of California, and also a bit of the charm, beauty and colors of India an are what i try to incorporate into my designs and pieces.

For any of my gemstone jewelry, I use high quality natural stones, not colored, and hypoallergenic 925 sterling silver or gold-filled ear wires for earrings. I also love to search for use vintage or recycled fabrics or leather, remnants for my earrings and tote bags.

When I'm not creating things, I chase my 3 year old son on the beaches, hike unexplored trails on the Lost Coast, play my cello, photograph wildflowers, and read the poetry of Kabir, Rumi, Gibran, and Mary Oliver and others.
