The Story of Scripture Flair…
In the Bible times, people, especially priests & rabbi’s (like Jesus), wore robes with fringe tassels on the bottom. Found in Numbers 15:38-39, the purpose for the “tassel” (Strong’s H6734 - Tsit-Seth pronounced Seet Sath) is for us to look upon it and remember all of God’s commandments and obey them. Again, in the New Testament we can see the importance of the tassel when the woman with the issue of blood was healed simply by touching the “hem” of Jesus’s garment (Greek word for “hem” is Tzitzi which also means “tassel”).
In this way, the purpose of the Truth Tassel is to remember what God has shown you, taught you, commanded you, or done for you. As it sits at the bottom and hangs out of your Bible, may you remember what God’s Word has revealed to you. Each Truth Tassel is directly attached to the Word of God and a specific Scripture verse even though you can use them however you choose. This is foundational to who I am and what God has called me to do with this little business. I created them with intentionality and purpose as well as prayed over each one as I made them.
I first began making these beaded bookmarks (which I now call “Truth Tassels”) as an alternative to “tabs” in my Bible. I enjoyed the look of them and decided to gift some at a women's retreat. Little did I know how much everyone would LOVE them and then ask me to make more designs. I was inspired to create and sell more designs for my fellow Bible journalers and book lovers alike.
Thank you so much for shopping and for encouraging me on. Every girl wants a pretty Bible! Something about those pretty lil things hanging out makes the Word so inviting to dig into. Scripture Flair is just that; a resource to help you make your Bible more lovable and pretty! I believe that these Truth Tassels will make you smile, be inspired to jump into creating your next journaling page, and remember what all He has taught you before.

Custom orders are welcome! His Mercies and Set a Fire were both commissioned pieces and some of my very favorite TT’s to work on.
