The Single Fin Collective (@singlefinco) is made up of Francesca Crickmere and Sam Cole, two surfers who love creating beautiful artwork. We work with watercolours, lino print, screenprinting, acrylics, and digital design as well as building the occasional surfboard!
After years of making pictures and cards as gifts for friends and family we opened an Etsy shop in April 2017 and were astounded by the amazing feedback we received. We are proud of our high quality giclée prints which are sold at fair prices, as we believe everyone should be able to fill their home with beautiful and unique artwork. Etsy is the perfect partner to be able to share our work with you. As keen surfers and lovers of the South West, our inspiration comes from the Devon and Cornish coastline, surfing chilly waves and exploring the local moors.
If you have any questions, fancy a design in a different colour or size please get in touch. We are always happy to have a chat or receive some useful feedback.
Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date with new designs, we have a lot more in the pipeline including a new range of homeware, bags, clothing and more!

5 out of 5 starsAwesome card! Giving it to my surfing buddy with his going away gift. Appropriate, since every member of our crew has been tagged by stingrays multiple times!

5 out of 5 starsFantastic customer service. I was informed that small corner of the white border was a little creased and was offered some discount straight away or a full refund. The defect was very minor and was very impressed with the honestly straight away. I would 100% recommend this seller. Lovely items available

Care instructions
Please be careful when removing and handling any prints as the archival paper is delicate and will crease or scuff if not handled carefully. As all the prints are produced using cotton rag, archival paper it is not unusual to find small white dots on the prints.
Sizing details
We have detailed the size of paper and image within each listing but if you have any queries please get in touch. In case you are not familiar with standard "A" paper sizes:
A5 - 148 × 210 mm
A4 - 210 × 297 mm
A3 - 297 × 420 mm
A2 - 420 × 594 mm
We have printed specialist sizes at buyer's request, for example a large A1 print and also trimmed / resized prints for buyers' pre-bought photo frames.
Can I return clearance items?
We do not accept returns or exchanges on sale items. Any sale/clearance items are carefully described as such in our listings and we encourage buyers to ask for extra photos before purchasing. We believe we describe clearance items faithfully and are very happy to take extra photographs for the buyer before they purchase to ensure they are happy with the quality of the product before buying.
Wholesale availability
We supply to a select group of retailers and are interested in hearing from homeware and lifestyle stores, surf shops and galleries in locations where we don't have a physical presence. If you'd like to work with us, please drop us an email on hello@singlefincollective.co.uk for our wholesale print and greeting card catalogue.
Damaged or Defective Items (Part 1)
We only exchange items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival, and where items have not been handled other than for opening and inspection. This is especially important for our giclee art prints.
Please contact us within 14 days of delivery to let us know if your item has arrived damaged. For giclee art prints in particular, please also report any issues prior to any further use or handling of the print (for example framing). If you have framed a giclee art print and subsequently report damage, we will be unable to consider the item for return or refund as by framing it you are deemed to have accepted the item as undamaged on arrival.
Damaged or Defective Items (Part 2)
If reporting damage, you will need to provide clear photographic evidence of the damage, as well as photographic evidence of the condition of the packaging on arrival. Items must be sent back within 30 days of delivery. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. Exchanges are not available for clearance items which are sold at reduced prices to account for print defects.
Returns and Refunds (Part 1)
Our goal is to make your day when you open a package from the Single Fin Collective. However if you're not happy with your purchase please contact us within 14 days of delivery and we can discuss a refund or an exchange of the item. If more than 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Clearance items are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Our prints in particular must be handled carefully to ensure they do not have any dents, creases or scuff marks left by heavy handling or from poor packaging when they are posted back. Items must be sent back within 30 days of delivery.
Returns and Refunds (Part 2)
If an item is returned with obvious signs of use or damage caused by you, the customer, we have the right to refuse a refund, or offer only a partial refund. For giclee art prints, we recommend that the prints are returned carefully rolled with the tissue paper they arrived in, and are rolled around a suitable tube or other item, rather than free-rolled by hand. This helps to avoid creases and dents to the paper during rolling. We also strongly recommend that you avoid touching the printed area of the prints as the cotton rag surface of giclee art prints is extremely delicate.
You must cover the costs of returning the item to us, we recommend tracked shipping. The postage costs of your original order will not be refunded.
Do you ship to Northern Ireland?
We are very disappointed that due to the EU's General Product Safety Regulations coming into effect in December 2024, we will no longer be able to ship to Northern Ireland. This legislation involves a new registration, fees and reporting process to prove the safety of our products.
Whilst you wouldn't think that art prints and greeting cards pose a great safety issue, they're not exempt from the rules. The time and costs involved are sadly not feasible as a small business.
If you're based in Northern Ireland and have friends in England, Wales or Scotland, the best workaround is to have your order delivered to them. They can then post on to you and bypass the various regulations due to them posting as a gift, rather than as a business.
Do you ship to Europe?
Unfortunately, since the UK left the European Union there have been a number of changes in EU law which have made it more time consuming and expensive to sell into the EU from outside of it. As well as customs duties, VAT, import taxes and courier handling fees, there are additional registers, fees and reporting we have to comply with relating to packaging in countries such as Germany, France and Poland.
The General Product Safety Regulation is the latest change which affects the EU and also Northern Ireland. Again, this involves additional registrations, fees and reporting in order to sell our products in the EU. The time and costs involved are sadly not feasible as a small business.
