I had requested a rush order which he happily accommodated but UPS (the worst) temporarily lost the package. How are your pieces packaged?
I normally receive really good feedback on my packaging! I start by wrapping the piece in paper, then sandwiched between two pieces of core-plast. I then install corner protectors, then shrink-wrap. I finish the package up by wrapping in two layers of shipping paper.
I only see pieces as large as 12x24. Can you do larger pieces?
It all depends on the commission. Because the paper I use is only 12x12, larger pieces need seams, which sometimes proves to be problematic. Send me a message with your request and I’ll evaluate whether it’s possible or not.
How accurate are the contours?
My maps are based on either modern-day navigation software, GIS Software or in some cases vintage lake surveys from the 60’s-80’s. It would be safe to say that they are 98% accurate against those information sources.
Custom and personalised orders
This is my unique touch to personalize your map. The Coordinates by default point to the center of the lake, but most clients provide me an address, screenshot, or even the actual latitude and longitude of their special location; the GPS Coordinates in the title reference that location.
Can you add a marker of some sort to my location?
Absolutely! Many people opt for a red heart or black star, but I can do dots, houses, arrows, or almost any other shape in almost any color! Simply provide that information with your purchase, or, I’ll personally reach out!
How do I tell you what area I want?
There are a few ways. The simplest way is to message me on Etsy, asking if I can do the location. I’ll do some initial research to see what information is available, and provide a link to my custom order item for purchase. Alternatively, simply purchase the item, mentioning what area you’d like in your purchase. I’ll message you for further details if required.
