Eclectic as my state of mind
Since I was a child I felt the need to create and translate my ideas into something material, was it a drawing, an ugly soft toy or a recycled jewelry piece. The important to me was always to challenge myself with something new and see how far my hands could go. Growing up I studied at the University of Florence and became an Architect so I learn to design from a smaller to a bigger scale and give more structure to my ideas. Now that I'm a mom of two little girls, I've got the chance to dust off the whimsical projects I had as a child and create them with the experience earned over the years, so that my daughters could be delighted. Seeing the surprise and the magic in their eyes gave me the most precious satisfaction. That was the moment I decided to open my Esty shop, trying to bring the same emotions to other kids and adults.
In the last 10 years I've lived in different countries and continents. Each place enriched me with its people and culture and this unwittingly influenced and improved my art with a compilation of different techniques and media. Like a volcano, my ideas erupts from my minds and are translated into an whimsical object or a visionary drawing.
That's why in my shop you can find different kind of works: nightlights, fairy doors, paintings, refurbished furnitures. This eclecticism is linked from a common thread that's the "child in me" point of view together with a pinch of irony. Most of my inspirations comes from unwanted, broken or old objects that I like to bring back to life using recycled and natural materials. With my art I like to contribute to take care of the planet and spread the Recycling theme.
So this is me and this is what I love to do,
Welcome in my shop!
