If I stay there will be trebles; if I go it will be doubles ...
I’m Victoria (that’s me in the picture!) I mostly crochet but also knit avidly and love loads of other arts and crafts when there's time. I grew up in Sandhurst in the UK and travelled around a bit settling back not far away in Reading to raise my children. I am a once and future English teacher and frustrated creative who descends from a fine crochet heritage having learnt from my mum, who learnt from her grandma ... etc
It is very important to mention my mum Lynn. We work together and, although she is a ‘volunteer’ (ahem!), she is absolutely integral to the success of our little crochet business. She is amazingly talented and creative and is also the common sense, strength and stability in everything we do. We have about 100 years of crocheting experience between us. Wow!
What I enjoy most about crochet is its diversity. From loo-roll covers to amazing fibre art through beautiful fluffy scarves and breath-taking lace. My motto is “Anything and Everything Crochet” and I love a new challenge.
Mum and I are best known for our quirky book covers and key rings, for our colourful animals and for our complex and gorgeous, unusual Freeform Crochet but our designs are eclectic, varied and manifold. But just don’t ask us about our crochet. You’ll never stop us talking
