Spreadsheets that do the sums for you
I'm not a spreadsheet person, and I never set out to be one. I just wanted to make something genuinely useful: not another trendy gadget, but a simple tool that solves a real, everyday problem.
Money is one of those problems, and it's one I know well. Running my own electrical business, I've learnt the hard way that without a proper system, it's hard to tell what you're really making, where money is slipping away, when the next bills are due, and how far you are from your goals. It takes discipline to keep good records, so I set out to make that easier.
I started by looking at what people actually need: the budgeting spreadsheets already out there, and what buyers liked and complained about. I went over each idea again and again, looking for what was missing and filling those gaps. Every sum has been checked and cross-checked, many times over. I won't claim they're the best spreadsheets in the world, but I've aimed for the highest quality I can.
Every Sum It All Up spreadsheet is:
• Easy: a Start Here tab and yellow cells show you exactly what to fill in
• Smart: it does the maths, flags problems and keeps your totals up to date
• Made for where you live: Australian, US and UK editions in your own currency (renter tools are Australian, with state editions)
• Yours to keep: no app, no sign-up, no subscription
• Works in Excel and Google Sheets. Best on a computer; also opens on phone or tablet
Designed by Sum It All Up and built with the help of AI tools, then tested formula by formula.
If you think something could be better, or you have an idea for a spreadsheet that would make life easier, I'd genuinely love to hear it. Send me a message anytime.
