When I ordered these earrings I was concerned that they might be too heavy and too large (I'm a senior now and large earrings/heavy earrings are not comfortable for me). These were neither. They are much nicer than their photos and I was absolutely thrilled to get them. I will be getting another pair for a dear friend of mine (an equine vet) and also for another equally dear friend who is a farrier -- both who were my students for many years. These are so nice, and not just for equestrians and people involved in the equine culture. They are so nice and would look very, very nice for any social event -- from formal to casual.
