Hola, mi nombre es Lisa y dirijo mi pequeño estudio de cerámica al final de mi jardín 'Under The Tree' en The New Forest.
Siempre he tenido una pasión por la creación, anteriormente había dirigido una tienda de ladrillos y mortero con mi papá donde reciclamos artículos y hacíamos muebles y artículos para el hogar únicos.
Soy un tapicero calificado, pero decidí seguir un camino creativo diferente.
¡Así que probé arcilla y me enganché al instante!
Desde el diseño de la pieza, hasta la apertura del horno, disfruto de todo el proceso. ¡Hago regalos únicos y artículos para el hogar y siempre tengo un cuaderno con nuevas ideas!
Aprendí muy rápidamente que con la cerámica la artesanía requiere paciencia, una pieza puede durar hasta dos semanas desde que se hizo hasta que está lista para listarse en mi tienda. Los tiempos de secado, cocción y acristalamiento no se pueden apresurar.
Una pieza se disparará dos veces al menos (a veces 3 veces) y cada disparo es de 24 horas.
Mucho tiempo y cuidado se dedica a todo lo que hago.

Hi my name is Lisa and I run my little pottery studio at the end of my garden ‘Under The Tree’ in The New Forest.
I have always had a passion for creating, previously having run a bricks and mortar shop with my Dad where we upcycled items and made unique furniture and homewares.
I am a qualified upholsterer but decided to follow a different creative path.
So I tried clay I was instantly hooked!
From the design of the piece, right through to opening the kiln I enjoy the entire process. I make unique gifts and home ware items and always have a notebook with new ideas!
I learnt very quickly that with ceramics the craft requires patience, a piece can up to two weeks from being made to being ready to list on my shop. Drying, firing and glazing times cannot be rushed.
A piece will be fired twice at least (sometimes 3 times) and each firing is 24 hours.
A lot of time and care goes in to everything I make.
