Frequently asked questions
What type of paper should I use to print?
It's up to you and your personal preference! Most of our prints look best printed on a matte heavyweight paper. However, some of our more colorful prints look great printed on glossy paper!
Which file should I use to print?
The file you use will depend on the ratio of the frame you have. They can be easily resized without loosing quality.
- For a 4x5 Frame: XXX_4x5.jpg
This can be printed at the following sizes: 4 x 5 in / 8 x 10 in / 16 x 20 in / 40 x 50 cm.
- For a 3x4 Frame: XXX_3x4.jpg
This can be printed at the following sizes: 6 x 8 in / 9 x 12 in / 12 x 16 in / 15 x 20 in / 18 x 24 in / 30 x 40 cm.
- For a 2x3 Frame: XXX_2x3.jpg
This can be printed at the following sizes: 4 x 6 in / 6 x 9 in / 8 x 12 in / 10 x 15 in / 12 x 18 in / 16 x 24 in / 20 x 30 in / 24 x 36 in / 60 x 90 cm
*If you have problems resizing yourself, send me a convo with the size you'd like and I'll e-mail one to you! (no additional cost)
Tips for printing at home
The files are saved as high quality images so you could print them on large sheet of paper. However, when you print at home, make sure select "fit to page" instead of "actual size" under your printing properties, otherwise it may be cropped due to its large size.
Where should I print?
There are three options for printing:
1. If you have a nice printer at home you can print it at home.
2. If you want a larger print, a local print shop such as Office Depot, Staples or Costco will do a great job for you. Just upload the file in the ratio you want and tell them the size of print you require.
3. Upload your file to an online print shop such as MPix.com, Vista Print, or Snapfish. Or search for ‘local printing’ to find one near you.
Custom and personalized orders
* Currently, I am not taking any custom orders. *
I do offer personalization and minor modifications to existing listings in my shop for a small fee. Just give me the wording that you would like, dimensions of the print, colors, etc. in a convo and I'll get back to you with pricing and a proof before your purchase. Depending on the extent of the changes, you can expect to pay an additional $1-$3 on top of the base $5 fee.
