My company, Eye of the Beholder Eyewear started in the spring of 2008 when the economy took a major dive.
I was working in the fashion industry and previously worked with French antiques, owning my own store.

I then decided to go solo and open an eye wear business. With my past experience in the fashion world and French Antiques, I had developed a sense for beautiful things that make people feel and look good.This decision revealed itself very quickly, to be just the right thing for me.

I quickly became very familiar with the trend in eye wear. I sensed immediately that in the eye wear industry, the up and coming trend was the revival of yesteryear optical wear, vintage eye wear.

Thus the next step for me was to bring original European vintage frames for both men and women. I have been traveling abroad the past few years to bring back the best of vintage frames.

This past fall, I launched my own eye wear label called, People Eyewear by Michel Atlan. You can see my collection on my website, www.michelatlan.com.

I sell my frames all over the United States and Europe. I reside in Los Angeles, California.

I CONTINUE TO GROW MY COMPANY AS I, ONE STEP AT THE TIME, MAKING MY WAY TO THE TOP.......
