VTILENE: handcrafted textile aesthetics
The name VTILENE is inspired by the Ukrainian word “втілення”, which means embodiment. It stands for ideas made real — the embodiment of color, emotion, and meaning through every ribbon, napkin, and handcrafted textile we create.
I began hand-dyeing textiles in 2018, starting with just a few shades of silk ribbons and small batches of gauze runners. What began as a home project became a lifelong journey rooted in sustainability and the desire to reduce the harm of synthetic dyes.
What inspires me most is uniqueness — the kind that lets us express ourselves through color and allows other artists to do the same in their own creative work.
VTILENE is about the touch of hands, the presence of soul.
We work only with natural fabrics like silk and cotton — gentle on the skin and kind to the Earth. Our dyeing process blends traditional techniques with safe, tested formulas, and some collections are made entirely with organic dyes for truly one-of-a-kind results.
