This Privacy Policy describes how and when we collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from me, contact me, or otherwise use my services through Etsy.com or its related sites and services.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Because our products are electronic downloads, order fulfilment is handled 100% by Etsy. We have access to order fulfilment information on Etsy (such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you are ordering), but Vertex42 does not independently collect or store that information. Etsy may send email notifications to Vertex42 regarding your order. We delete these notifications, unless it is a notice that we must respond to, such as you requesting customer support.

WHY WE MIGHT NEED YOUR INFORMATION AND HOW WE MIGHT USE IT
Although order fulfilment is handled 100% by Etsy, it may still be necessary for us to access your order information. So, we rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:
(a) as needed to provide our services, such as when we use your information to settle disputes or provide customer support;
(b) if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and
(c) as necessary for the purpose of our legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as 1) providing and improving our services and 2) using your information as necessary to comply with our obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
Basically, we would only share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:
A) Etsy. We share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you our services and comply with our obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
B) Compliance with laws. We may collect, use, retain, and share your information if we have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce our agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of our customers, or others.

DATA RETENTION
As mentioned above, Vertex42 does not independently store your information. So, please see the Etsy Privacy Policy for information about how long Etsy stores your information.
