A WhimsyRedo Story
We are Angie & Charlee, and we believe that WhimsyRedo was born years ago when two young women and their families moved in next door to each other in a sweet culdesac in a small town in Georgia. We became fast friends and found that we both had a love for home decor, furniture, and design, and were constantly coming up with creative transformations in our little starter homes! Together, we took on so many DIY projects in each other's homes, making them our own, unique happy places for many, many years!
Looking back on those years always gives us good vibes and great memories! We have never stopped being creative and fostering our love of color, fabrics, paints, great vintage furniture & home decor, and of course a little touch of whimsy! Our close friends and family members began asking us to transform items they already had or asked us to find a particular item and customize it for them, and WhimsyRedo continued to grow. Our garages and even rooms and spaces inside our homes became our workshops!
Fast forward and now we have grown into a small business who specializes in giving great vintage items (mainly furniture) an entirely new life. We have transformed & updated family heirlooms giving them purpose for many future generations, items that clients have located themselves for customization, and we also locate items for clients. We especially enjoy and take pride in working closely with our clients to create truly one-of-a-kind custom furniture & upholstery unique to them and their space.
