Hi, I'm Sheleen, the maker behind S.M. Quirkshop! I love everything whimsical and dreamy, and I think it's so important for adults to hold on to that childlike sense of wonder. All of my pieces are made with love and the art of spun cotton. I start by building a wire armature, then spinning the cotton around the frame, then stiffening it in a glue wash before it is dried, hand painted, and adorned with bits of fabric and ribbon that I've been collecting over the years. I love how these creatures take shape in my hands; each one with its own personality. Thank you for visiting my shop; I hope you see something that makes your heart happy!
