Hi, I’m Yosef David Yitzchak.
I’m a father, husband, Hasidut teacher, and the voice of With Love, Bubby.
I grew up in a home where love was present, but quiet.
My grandparents were survivors — one a partisan, one an orphan.
They didn’t speak much about their past. They survived, but didn’t tell stories.
My parents were raised in that silence, and though they did their best,
we never really talked about roots, legacy, or blessings.
Now, my father — Simon — is fading into Alzheimer’s.
Even the few things we might have shared are disappearing.
That’s when I realized: if I want my children to know where they come from, I have to build that memory myself.
So I created With Love, Bubby.
It’s not just a store. It’s a second chance.
A chance to say things that never got said.
To laugh, to cry, to pass on Jewish love through simple, everyday things — like a mug.
