Het is de plek waar alles en iedereen samenkomt. Het is ook de plek die jou en je stijl weerspiegelt, wat die ook is.

Waarom lijken grote woonwinkels je alleen maar te proberen te verkopen wat de huidige trend is? Of, nog erger, een "houten" bord met "veel karakter" dat niet eens echt hout is en precies hetzelfde karakter heeft als de rest van de borden in de schappen?

Niet hier. Nooit.

Hoi, ik ben Krista en ik heb er altijd van gehouden om dingen voor ons huis te creëren. Vooral omdat ik geen geld had voor spullen die bij onze stijl pasten, of ze niet kon vinden. Ik ben in 2010 met block.paper.scissors. begonnen, nadat ik me realiseerde dat er zoveel anderen waren die hun huis probeerden te decoreren, maar gefrustreerd waren door het gebrek aan opties, of erger nog, geld uitgaven aan dat ene speciale stuk, om er vervolgens achter te komen dat het niet zo bijzonder was, of de prijs niet waard.

Hier bij block.paper.scissors. betekent handgemaakt dat elk stuk met de hand wordt gemaakt, één voor één. Van de houtkeuze, het gebruikte ontwerp, het schuren en bewerken tot het inpakken en verzenden van uw artikel, ik regel het allemaal. Geen twee borden zijn ooit identiek. U kunt er ook zeker van zijn dat een houten bord precies dat betekent: een massief stuk hout. Geen dun multiplex, geen mdf, geen houtachtig product. Gewoon massief grenen en de karaktereigenschappen die alleen hout kan bieden.

En het allerbelangrijkste: als je op zoek bent naar iets specifieks, of iets op het oog hebt, maar het liever in een andere maat of kleur hebt, ben ik altijd beschikbaar voor maatwerk. Dat is tenslotte precies waarom ik deze winkel ben begonnen!

Laten we dus aan de slag gaan met dat speciale, unieke, handgemaakte stuk voor jou! En laten we dat huis omtoveren tot een thuis waar je van houdt.

Hi, I'm Krista and I have always loved creating things for our home. Especially since I couldn't afford or find items that fit our style. I started block.paper.scissors. in 2010 after realizing that there were so many others out there trying to decorate their home but frustrated at the lack of options out there, or worse, spending money on that special piece only to find out that it wasn't that special, or worth the price they paid.

Here at block.paper.scissors. handmade means each piece is made by hand, one at a time. From the choosing of the wood, to the design used, to the final sanding and distressing, and finally to your item being wrapped up and shipped, I handle it all. No two signs are ever identical. You can also be assured that wood sign means just that, a solid piece of wood. No thin plywood, no mdf, no wood-like product. Just solid pine and the character that only wood can offer.
