CAKEOVER ACCESSORIES – Born from the intuition of Lisa Bellomo, a young designer, collector of vintage papers and fabrics, always looking for new inspirations. Over the years he has received, in his heart and in his hands, the passion for the art of weaving from his mother Loretta. In the laboratory, during endless brain storming, women thus become princesses of the evening or great warriors of everyday life, somehow crowned by these fresh decorations and really suitable for everyone. Among the projects of 2018: the ceremony line, which will distinguish the Cakeovers for shapes and materials, enriching them in a completely exclusive and creative way, but also the line that combines mother and daughter, with headbands made from the same remnant of fabric in two sizes, so that the story from which Cakeover originates can also be shown off in the world. The motto is "Originality within reach of a simple gesture, yours", because the term "cakeover" contains a metaphorical meaning: it is what completes a work, a unique accessory to enrich or simply complete the entire outfit. At the same time we like to think that it conveys the meaning of "protection of goodness": it enhances and protects something handmade, genuine just like these hairbands, hairwear, headbands or headbands, totally made in Italy.

CAKEOVER ACCESSORIES – Nasce dall’intuizione di Lisa Bellomo, giovane designer, collezionista di carte e tessuti vintage, sempre alla ricerca di nuove ispirazioni. Negli anni ha ricevuto, nel cuore e fra le mani, la passione dell’arte della tessitura dalla madre Loretta. In laboratorio, durante interminabili brain storming, le donne diventano così principesse della sera o grandi guerriere della quotidianità, in qualche modo incoronate da queste decorazioni fresche e adatte davvero a tutte. Tra i progetti del 2018: la linea cerimonia, che distinguerà per forme e materiali i Cakeover, arricchendoli in modo del tutto esclusivo e creativo, ma anche la linea che abbina mamma e figlia, con headband realizzate a partire dallo stesso scampolo di stoffa in due misure, perché la storia da cui Cakeover trae origine possa essere sfoggiata anche nel mondo. Il motto è “L'originalità a portata di un semplice gesto, il tuo”, perché il termine “cakeover” racchiude un significato metaforico: è ciò che completa un’opera, un accessorio unico per arricchire o semplicemente completare l’intero outfit. Allo stesso tempo piace pensare che veicoli il significato di “tutela della bontà”: valorizza e protegge qualcosa di fatto a mano, genuino proprio come queste hairband, hairwear, cerchietti o fasce per capelli, totalmente made in Italy.
