Interactive planning tools for family trips: choose a destination, check the route, work out the budget, pack the suitcase – in your browser, no subscription.
Welcome to dbfam digital.
dbfam digital is a small family business from Altendorf in the canton of Schwyz, Switzerland. The tools you find here grew out of planning our own family trips.
Every family trip starts with the same four questions:
Which trip actually suits us?
Is the route realistic, or does it get too packed along the way?
How much budget do we really need?
What has to be sorted before we leave?
We answered these questions in notes and spreadsheets for years, starting from scratch every time. Four tools came out of that, and those are what we sell here.
How it works
After your purchase you download a ZIP file, extract it and double-click START-HERE.html. The tool opens in your browser. No subscription, no app, no sign-up, no account.
All your entries stay on your device. The tool sends nothing to us and needs no internet connection to run.
Unlike a PDF template, a dbfam tool does the maths with you: change one number and everything else updates. At the end you print the result or save it as a PDF.
The four areas
Orientation: which kind of trip, which pace and which sort of experience suit your family.
Feasibility: whether your route is family-friendly and realistic, or gets too packed along the way.
Budget: which cost blocks really matter and where a trip gets financially hard to read.
Preparation: which to-dos, documents and packing points need attention in good time.
Every tool is available on its own or in sets. Every purchase includes two files: the German and the English version.
What we are not
Not a travel agency and not a travel consultancy. The tools help you structure your own planning. They do not replace legal, medical, financial, insurance or safety-related advice.
If anything is unclear or does not work, message us through Etsy. We usually reply within a day.
Thank you for being here.
