The idea people have of California is romantic: blue skies and beautiful oceans, and the endless summer we all dream of! That is what I thought of when I created my shop name: sweetSoCal.

I am a teacher in my real life - 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade special Ed and it is a job I truly love. But just like Superman I have a secret: I dream about owning my own vintage shop where I can sell beautiful vintage things.

Since that might not happen real soon...I joined etsy which is the next best thing! It is actually probably better because I can reach everyone in this big beautiful world!

sweetSoCal came from a dream to sell vintage. The lifestyle and the image California evokes and my small etsy shop are a way for me to share the many beautiful vintage things I have collected -- and still like to shop for when I am not teaching.
