Boho Slingers Crochet PATTERN
Life is a party but you have to hang the bunting yourself!!! And what could be more fun than a self-crocheted garland? This pattern can be crocheted by anyone who knows the basic stitches and some special stitches.
BOHO BUNTING, this durable and modern decoration has a nice texture due to the use of the front post stitches and the puff stitches. With the scalloped edge all around for the romantic look. It gives all the summer vibes and is perfect for garden parties, festivals or just to give your home that summer feeling!
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate
THE PROJECT CONTAINS: large format chart/diagram, full written instructions in English with US terminology and a photo tutorial
MATERIALS
Yarn: fingering yarn, 50 g/125 m (as Scheepjes Catona or Schachenmayr Catania)
5 balls in 5 colors for 9 flags (for one flag you need about 50 m of yarn)
Hook: 2.5 mm
Scissors, tapestry needle to weave in ends. You can use any similar yarn and suitable hook.
THE SIZE
My flags made of fingering yarn and 2.5 mm crochet hook are about 15 cm wide and 18 cm long after blocking.
Length bunting of 9 flags: 2 m
The size of the crocheted flag depends on the yarn and crochet hook used.
PATTERN INFORMATION:
The flags are worked separately from each other and then crocheted together.
Start with a triangle by crocheting all around, make a few rows straight at the top and work finally the scalloped edge all around.
Make sure you are familiar with the special stitches (front post and puff stitches) before you begin.
I recommend learning how to crochet standing stitches and how to join with an invisible join.
Join with a slip stitch. Use invisible join to finish the last round.
This pattern contains a diagram. Start each round at the sign 'start' and the number of the round.
Thread tension is not important for this project.
Block your flags. This makes your flags more beautiful.
