*Size: 3-1/3" x 4-5/8" x 5/8" inches or 8.5 cm. X 12 cm. X 1.5 cm.

To make the piece I used an amazing Jesus Christ drawing ‘Savior in the crown of thorns’ created in 1906 by Viktor Vasnetsov in Romanticism style. I love to work with mystical old iconic paintings. Some images radiate such spiritual energy that you can feel their presence next to you.

The drawing signed by the author is transferred to the peace of wood, that I cut and sanded by hand. Then I painted the background with bronze and gold paint, and added details and colors to the drawing with my tiny brush. The Icon is coated with Museum quality Varnish. Ready to hang.

I use Canadian Wood and environmental friendly materials.
