Edit December 2022: All the feathers I have currently have a black color to them. You can see this in the last photo.

The Magellanic penguin that this feather belonged to was killed in a storm off the coast of Patagonia. In the process of tanning the hide for preservation, we saved all of the feathers to use in jewelry pieces.
