Wire ring tutorial - "CLUSTER RING" shows how to make this beaded, chunky and funky wire cluster ring.
It is a solder-less, wirework design. It is a very eye- catching ring, even though it is very easy and quick to make. After you make your first cluster ring you will want to make one for each of your friends and it will not take longer than 10 minutes per ring :-) You can design it with any beads, stones, pearls or crystals - it’s up to you.
This tutorial shows how to make the ring with oxidized copper wire (and additionally gives some useful tips on oxidizing the wire) but it can be silver or crafts wire as well.

Tools and supplies:
1. About 120cm (about 47 inch) of 20 gauge (0.8mm) round half hard wire.
This tutorial shows copper wire, but it can also be silver or craft wire.
2. If you would like to oxidize the wire you’ll need liver of sulfur, fine steel wool and polishing cloth.
3. Beads or stones of your choosing: 8 beads- 7mm (about 0.3 inch) in diameter each.
4. Nylon- jaw pliers.
5. Chain nose pliers.
6. Round nose pliers.
7. Flush cutters.
8. Ring mandrel.
9. Rubber mallet.
10. Metal file.
