This listing is for rainbow and ombre hair feather extensions - You select the quantity. If you don't need hair beads you can select that now from the variations menu. The price will be slightly cheaper.
These pretty grizzly & solid feathers are dyed using professional dyes meant for animal fiber. (sometimes variants with speckles or badger patterns are included, but not always) All are hand-dyed by me at home in my kitchen here in florida usa and are 100% real rooster feathers.
They are loose non-bonded single feathers - I hold bundles of 10 and 20 together with either a silicone hair bead OR a hair barrette. When you receive the product, take out the bundle from the bag. If a silicone bead is holding your feathers - open it up or snip the bead off the top. The feathers will fall out and be "loose feathers"
- if feathers are waved from being in a poly bag just use your flat iron on low temp and un-wave them.
- If you do not need hair beads (choose I don't need beads) from menu 1, then choose the quantity and length from menu 2.
They take hours to dye these pretty colors - so they do cost more than others. I appreciate you understanding this.
Included with this purchase is (quantity of feathers selected) + (number of beads) 10 feathers 10 beads 1 floss threader, 20 feathers is 20 beads and floss threader and so on. If confused just ask, here to help.
You'll need pliers to put them in yourself.
Real Feathers No Fluff.
100% real Rooster Feathers - These can be washed and styled. They also can be re-used depending on how you have cared for them. Some have lasted me as long as one year but eventually you will need to replace them.
these are humanly sourced from one American farm I only buy whiting feathers for hair use - they are genetically modified roosters - the entire birds are used in dog foods - if you are vegan it is best to not buy these types of feather. The birds are kept in good quarters but they are raised for their feathers and meat. These birds are not live plucked as are birds in other "countries". These feathers are used in fishing. Folks tie flies with them. They were not originally meant for "our hair" so they become unavailable and are hard to find (especially during spring/summer).
