I was born and raised in Southern California, but my travels have opened my eyes to many cultures, lifestyles, and ideas. Each of my paintings pulls from some sort of emotion or story in my life, almost like a visual journal. I have always had an eye for art, and have enjoyed expressing myself through many mediums (ceramics, photography, painting, drawing, screen printing, etc), but just recently started to avidly paint. I feel like I have finally honed in on my "style", and love expressing myself through my brushes. Painting is somewhat of an escape for me, and allows me to drown out anything else that is going on in my life, whether good or bad. My love for the arts translates into most aspects of my life, whether it be my foodie inclinations, or my passion for the world of fashion, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
