We are happy to be a part of community which appreciates rare, unique and hand made treasures. Most if not all of the items in our shop belong to a group of elderly friends and neighbors who do not own (nor want to, LOL) computers but want to find good homes for the treasures their children and grandchildren do not want (gasp!). The proceeds of the sales will go to those children and grandchildren nevertheless.
Alas, all of the people involved in this shop are SMOKERS!
We would rather lose a sale than have an unhappy customer. Please, if you cannot stand the smell of tobacco, do not purchase our items. No matter how clean our homes, some porous materials, like paper, cloth and plastics, will absorb the smoke over decades. Some of us are working on quitting the smelly habit, but not very diligently.
