I make homemade Fudge, Marshmallows and other tasty confectionery. All my goodies are made from scratch with great love and passion in my tiny kitchen in Gloucester. Whenever I make a batch of goodies, friends and family make it disappear pretty quickly with that wonderful sound of 'mmm'. All my confectionery is made fresh for each order and is hand cut and wrapped, I rather like the higgledy piggledy rustic look.One of my first loves has always been sweets, chocolate and confectionery, especially fudge and marshmallows! You can honestly lose me for HOURS in an old fashioned sweet shop, my idea of heaven! One day I thought, wouldn't it be lovely to have my very own old fashioned sweet shop? And I wonder if I could make the treats I love so much myself and at home.
So, like all crafters, one day I thought, let's have a go! To be honest, my first attempts were... well... disastrous sticky messes to say the least! With me and my kitchen not looking or feeling much better! After a tantrum and a little weep, I pulled myself together and had another go, and then another and then another. After a bit I found that I could actually make delicious treats that my friends and family loved and that I loved making them! I was pretty pleased with myself! I have learnt though, that you need patience, commitment but also a whole load of love to make tasty pieces of confectionery! Without love it just doesn't work!
I hope to keep making delicious creations that make people happy. I don't think my tiny sweet shop will make me rich but it certainly makes me happy and if I can share the love and happiness of delectable confectionery with others, what more could I ask for? :)
