After purchasing a template, how do I access the file, and how long does it take?
Instant Access!
Our files are available immediately after purchase. You will have access to the purchased file in your Etsy account. Simply navigate to Profile -> Purchases -> Download Files. Please be sure to be logged into your Etsy account via your phone browser or a desktop. The file will NOT be available on the app, or if you completed your purchase as a "guest".
What can I edit? Can I customize my design to suit my wedding or event theme?
Yes, absolutely! You can customize the following elements:
- Text size, color, and font style
- Background color can be added or changed
- You can upload your own image or photo
- Specific artwork or design may not be editable. Please contact me if you wish to customize.
*Please note that the template size cannot be edited. However, if you need custom resizing, please contact me.
What do I need to edit -do I need any extra software?
No, you don't need any extra software. A desktop computer is all you need. After your purchase is confirmed, simply click the link provided in the PDF sent to your Etsy purchased files. This will take you to a template in Canva (free), which you can access in your browser. Once you've made your edits, you can download the file as a PDF, PNG, or JPEG.
Are your templates easy to navigate and edit for beginners?
Yes, our templates are very user-friendly and come with step-by-step instructions (although many don't even need these). No advanced design skills required.
How can I receive support if I encounter any technical issues?
If you encounter any issues or have questions while editing a template, please reach out to us through Etsy's messaging system and I'd be happy to assist you and provide guidance.
What cardstock do you recommend?
For small prints, we recommend printing on heavy matte cardstock (100-130 lb) for best results. Though it is highly recommended to check your printer’s guidelines first to ensure that cardstock is compatible.
If printing at home we recommend running a test print before bulk printing. If home print is not up to your standards we recommend printing professionally. For larger prints we recommend printing on foam board or mounted cardstock. Ask your print shop for recommendations.
