At first, I thought there was something wrong with the DVD. The third episode of the season was pixelating and stopping. I washed the disc in warm, mildly soapy water dried it put it back into my player only to have the disc do the same thing. But then I started to troubleshoot what else could be the problem. I had a brand new DVD player brand new DVDs, so what could be the problem? Turns out my DVD player was overheating. I had watched three episodes back to back. Pausing the video many times while I did other things without turning my DVD player off. This contributed to my DVD player overheating and causing the video issues. I love Shogun and was really counting on a quality DVD. So far I’m not disappointed.
