Game night essentials as beautiful as the table you set
Hi, I'm Stephanie — founder of Mahjong O'Clock™.
I started Mahjong O'Clock with a simple idea: game night essentials can be just as beautiful as the spaces we gather in.
I saw an opportunity to bring a fresher, more design-forward point of view to American mahjong — one that feels colorful, feminine, polished, and at home on a beautifully set table.
Today, our collections are created by our own design team, with artwork developed specifically for the brand. We thoughtfully consider every detail, from the patterns and color palettes to the materials, edge finishing, and overall feel of each piece.
We work closely with our manufacturing partners and provide our own quality specifications to ensure our products meet the standards we've set for the brand.
We're a small, independent business, and I'm personally involved in the details — including answering your messages myself.
Designed in-house. Shipped from the USA. Made to make game night a little more beautiful.
WHAT GOES INTO A MAT
3mm premium neoprene — thick enough that tiles land quietly and stand without wobbling, thin enough to roll and travel. The top surface is a waterproof woven fabric, so a knocked-over drink wipes off instead of soaking in.
The edges are serged first and dyed after. That means the pattern carries all the way to the border. Most mats use a contrast binding instead, because it's faster and cheaper — it also cuts the design in half.
Every mat ships rolled in its own carry bag. A folded mat arrives with a crease down the middle that never fully relaxes, and we don't send those.
HOW IT'S MADE
Our artwork is developed in-house for the brand. Our mats are printed and sewn by a manufacturing partner working to a written quality specification we set and inspect against. Orders ship from the USA.
WHAT'S NEXT
Our design team is developing a complete original American mahjong tile face — every suit, the honor tiles, all eight flowers, four jokers — drawn from scratch rather than assembled from stock art. That's the foundation for the next collection.
Table size question, a colorway you wish existed, or outfitting a whole group? Message me — I read all of them.
