The hammer of the thunder god Thor, Mjölnir, was the most common amulet worn in the north during the viking age. It protects one from storm and lightning and is often associated as a symbol of strength and honour.

This necklace is hand forged from steel with traditional black tar-burned surface finish. It doesn't blacken/stain clothes or skin. The small size of the hammer makes it perfect easy to wear everyday pendant.

The hammer pendant can include a hot-stamped viking rune/runes of your choosing. If no runes are chosen, the pendant can be decorated with viking style groove pattern or be plain with only hammer marks. By default I stamp few decorative grooves to both sides when one or more runes are chosen and there is enough space left for them.

I’m so pleased with my Mjölnir pendent. It’s beautifully crafted and made from great quality materials. I went for the reindeer leather option and it really adds to the look and feel, the runes are clear and look really good.
