"Write every day."

If you need a little nudge to get back to your computer, typewriter, or pen and paper, this keychain will serve as a cheerful reminder as you go about your day. To create it, I hand stamped the words "write every day" on a metal circle and added a silver-plated typewriter charm. The keychain is finished with a strong stainless steel key ring. Stainless steel is a better option than cheaper nickel key rings as it won't rust when wet.

Size: 2.5" (6.4 cm)
This is the full size of the keychain from the top of the key ring to the bottom of the copper circle.

Metal choices: Aluminum, Copper, and Dark Copper
The dark copper finish has been added by hand, so each one will be a little different.

Keychain comes gift-boxed. A great gift for a writer or author.

Technique: Hand stamped
Hand stamped items uses hand tools (a hammer and steel stamps) to add the letters and numbers one at a time. No lasers or machines! Because of the hand tools, you may notice light hammer marks or a brushed (not smooth) texture on the metal, particularly on the back.

If you would prefer a smooth surface on the back, ask me about creating a wood (not metal) laser engraved piece for you as a custom order.

Metal (Aluminum, Steel, Copper)
I add words to most metals using a hammer, not a laser or machine. This means that I cannot add words to both sides of an item. (You will see the hammer marks and brushed finish on the back.) Because I add one letter at a time, I do not have machine-like precision for alignment. (I'm human!)

Anodized Aluminum
This may be laser engraved on both sides. This is a colored metal (red, green, blue, black, purple).

Wood
If you need a 2-sided item, you may prefer a laser engraved wood keychain or other wood items (earrings, pendants) as a custom order.

Choose First Class (least expensive, slowest) or Priority Mail (more expensive, faster) shipping at checkout. U.S. packages over 1 pound must be sent Priority Mail; First Class is only for lightweight items. Orders with free shipping ship the cheapest way. Contact me about Express/Overnight shipping.

Delivery dates are *estimated* by the post office and *not* guaranteed. (Packages may arrive later than expected!)

You will get a tracking number to use at usps.com as soon as your package ships.

Items are normally shipped Monday-Friday, except U.S. post office holidays. I normally ship within 3-5 business days of your order. I often ship more quickly! Let me know if you have a specific deadline. If I'm able to ship earlier, I will.

It generally takes 2-8 weeks or longer for orders to arrive from the United States, depending upon how long the package spends in customs and the efficiency of your local postal service.
