No polyester material or plastic buckle in sight, this handcrafted messenger bag shows off high quality saddle leather and antique-coloured hardware. Long-term use will produce a deeper tone in the leather, adding character to it and enhancing the bag’s overall appearance.

Based on the traditional school satchel design, the bag has a large flap closure that comes with precise, immaculate stitching on the top and along the edges. A wide front pocket offers a convenient place for keeping and accessing items quickly. Store bulkier things in the main compartment where there is plenty of room for all your essential belongings, including a 13” laptop which has its own denim lined slot. There are also nifty sections appropriately sized for smaller objects like pens, mobile phones, cards and keys. Extending from the YKK zipped top is a thick, vegetable-tanned shoulder strap. Two metal buckles allow the strap to be adjusted to the desired length.

All right, time for the review. The quality of the leather is very fine, the level of details and the actual leather work is certainly top-notch. I was a bit surprised that there are no magnets/clips to hold the flap by the bag. I guess I will get use to it though. As for the handle, I could imagine it done different way. The actual one is having a different colour tone than the whole bag and is a bit sturdy. However although not super-elegant it seems that it will hold for ages. All in all, would I buy it again? Yeah, I would. The bag itself is just superb.
