Ruby : Heat Treatment
Heat treatment is a very common colour and clarity enhancement done in rubies. Around 95% of the rubies on the market are heat treated.

Sapphire : Heat Treatment
Like rubies, Sapphires are also heat treated to improve colour and clarity of the stone. Heat treatment is commonly accepted enhancement.

Emerald : Oiling (Fracture Filling)
Emeralds contain a lot of fractures within them and hence these fractures are filled with oil to improve the clarity and make the stone much more stable.

We offer both 14K and 18K gold variation on our products. When the customer selects 18K or 14K Gold option, the ring is made in 14K or 18K solid gold and is not gold plated. We advise all our customers to gently wash the ring with Luke warm water, soap and a tooth brush. However, there are certain stones which need special care.

Emeralds : Emeralds should NEVER be put into an ultrasonic cleaner. Just use mild soap and water to clean it.

Pearls : Pearls should not be exposed to chemicals in perfume, cosmetics and body lotion as the nacre gets affected

Opals : Opals should not face sudden temperature changes as they are very soft and they can crack. It is called crazing in gemological terms

Turquoise : Turquoise should not be exposed to acid or chemicals of any kind. Hence it is advised to remove the ring while doing any household chores.
