I also have the ball end set in one of these, but the ball end set is mixed 1/4 and 3/8 inch sockets and this holder only has 3/8 holes. It works for storing them but not as securely. I would love a version for the ball end set with the 1/4 and 3/8 inch holes."

"It’s nearly perfect. It organizes the socket set extremely well. Everything has a place and doesn’t utilize the silly case supplied with the original tool kit. Looks great on my work desk and is always in reach. A very minor thing that may be specific to Icon having multiple suppliers. The ratchet sits a tad high on the driver side and the handle doesn’t sit flush. I didn’t measure, but maybe 3-4mm. Another minor thing is the lid closes with the liner removed, but it contacts with the liner installed. The liner helps prevent the insert from moving around. If the socket provisions were open in the bottom, the box lid would shut with the liner installed. Additionally, less material would be required for the print. Also, that would require everyone retaining their liners. Catch 22 I guess. Very cool item for sure. Thank you."
