Announcement
Hi! The paper sculptures I design may look impressive but are easier to put together than you think. With a healthy dose of patience, deft tweens, teens and grown-ups alike are able to make their own with pride. So can you! JUST TAKE YOUR TIME and everything will be fine!
🌵Every model comes with a practice template (cactus)🌵
In my Etsy shop you can purchase downloadable papercraft patterns. Print them on your own cardstock, then you will magically turn them into actual 3D paper sculptures for your walls, using scissors and glue! I'll show you how with a step-by-step assembly guide and some tips along the way.
📩 If you feel stuck anyway, I am super available to answer any of your questions, even on Sundays. Please don't hesitate 💜💜

5 out of 5 starsThis was the first 3D paper art I tried my hand at. The instructions are easy to follow and if you have patience it will turn out just as pictured. I would have started with something simpler to begin with, but he turned out awesome and looks so good in our library.

5 out of 5 starsThis definitely was a challenge to build only because this was my very first origami project ever! My students absolutely love it!

Frequently asked questions
I never made a sculpture before, is it for me?
Surprisingly, yes. At least I do my best to make the assembly as comfortable as possible for everyone. Expect to spend several hours on your project though. So if patience is one of your skills and you can follow simple instructions, then put some TV show on in the background and go for it!
Can your sculptures be made by children?
I would rather say adults and teens above 12 or 13, just to be safe, as they are more likely to make neater sculptures. The youngest child who participated in one of my workshops had just turned 8. She made a cat quicker than the adults there, but her cat was a little...mistreated :D She was happy with her result though, so I was happy too :)
What do I need to make those sculptures?

Do you offer refund?
I do, as long as *none* of the files have been downloaded, the reason being that you cannot return a digital file :)
What is the least time-intensive paper sculpture you offer?
The smiling foxes: https://www.etsy.com/listing/559469025 or
The bunny in a suit: https://www.etsy.com/listing/521588445
I want to make one for me and one for a friend of mine. Do I have to buy several times?
You don't have to buy the file several times, you can make several sculptures from the same file.
I'm just asking you not to share or publish the files though, and not to use them for profit of any kind, as my work is copyright protected.
Can I sell paper sculptures that I make from your digital templates?
YES, you can do whatever floats your boat with the finished sculpture. Some past customers sold their finished sculpture at auctions for charities for example, or just because they wanted to clear their walls to welcome new sculptures. If you want to make a business out of it though, I am not against the idea but let's discuss it first.
However, the copyright of the files and derivatives remain with Oxygami, so all I am asking is for you to keep the files to yourself. You can not share, or even worse, resell the files either in their digital or physical form. I am serious.
I purchased a file but I can't download it! There is nothing there!
It is probably because you are trying to download the files from Etsy's app on a smartphone or tablet. Etsy's app does not support file downloading (Etsy, whhhhyyyyy?)
Two workarounds:
- use a computer. The experience is always smoother with a computer.
- or use the web on your phone or tablet and resist Etsy's attempts to redirect you to their app. If you placed an order with your Etsy account, the files are available to download in your purchase history: www.etsy.com/your/purchases
If for some reason, these two solutions still do not work for you, send me a nice message and I will gladly solve your issue :)
