The sash has a nice smooth texture but is thinner than the photos led me to believe. The length is also shorter than you might think, so order up. I got this for a pirate cosplay and assumed the shortest length would be enough to tie around my waist and sword as I'm not a large person, but as the sash turned out so small, it barely looks like in the photos here but as though I just have a red line across my waist. The product's quality is good, but I recommend ordering a longer length and being aware of how thin the fabric is.
