The "best fit today" is listed because marked vintage sizes are often different than modern sizes. Please see chart below for how I determine size. Listings marked with multiple sizes (without multiple items posted) shows that the item can fit a range of sizes depending on the look you want.

Using the measurements listed to compare to something similar in your closet is the BEST way to ensure a proper fit. Measurements are taken laying flat from seam to seam across the area mentioned (chest- pit to pit, hips- seam to seam at widest above the crotch, rise- crotch to waist, etc.)

Because people can very often measure a bit different, reach out prior to purchase if you need to confirm measurements are done precisely the same by both parties.

I hand pick best condition clothes. Almost all my items are cleaned (wash or home dry clean). Very occasionally there may be reason requiring your washing or dry cleaning. To be sure plan to wash before wear. All items get a rating: good (shows use), very good (shows light use), excellent (shows nearly no use), new (unused). I do not sell anything in fair or poor condition unless it gives great character that makes sense. It goes with the territory however that vintage items have been pre-loved so please expect a reasonable wear. Everything comes from a smoke and pet free shop. I guarantee no rips, holes, missing buttons, etc unless noted as style or a problem so you can feel totally confident shopping at Re: collection

Traditional gender categories are vanishing in the fashion world- which is GREAT! When you look around please keep an open mind. I am particularly attracted to rather androgynous styles. When possible, I will mark under size who the item was originally manufactured for.

Combined shipping is available when purchasing more than one item and is calculated at check out.

Please make sure your address is correct on your order form. I print shipping labels from the order form so any changes in address can not be a guaranteed delivery. The seller is not responsible for any resulting re-shipments fees.

The seller is not responsible for service delays or lost mail (which I have never had) with the USPS. However purchasing priority rate is the best for buyers recourse. It is the buyers responsibility to track their own service with the tracking info emailed at purchase.

I will except a return on shoes for merchandise credit only if notified within 24 hours of delivery. Buyer plays shipping.

Measurements are provided for each item however two people will often measure slightly different so allow for variations of an inch or a bit more. How taught the garment is laying, where on the garment the tape is laid, and the tool used to measure can all make slight variations. Please reach out if there is something you want to purchase that needs a particular measurement to be precisely the same on both ends.
