Etsy has become very saturated with low quality pattern shops where copy-cat shop owners are tracing each other's poor work. While there are still few pattern making veterans here on Etsy, growing number of computer generated items is concerning. Pay attention to the details when you are shopping for PDF patterns, support real human art and don't let AI trick you!:)
The way I design patterns is the most traditional one, I always start with draping my mannequin when working on a new design. I true my patterns, I load them in industrial software and check for inconsistencies. I test my graded sizes. I make my own clothes using my patterns. And I love it!:)
