I started out making jewelry about 5 years ago as a hobby. I was never able to find unique jewelry that matched the colors of my favorite outfits so, I decided that I was going to do it myself. This became my hobby. Friends, family and even random people I would meet while out shopping started to inquire about my jewelry and wanted me to make items for them. Little by little I started venturing out into other crafts and different mediums. I really enjoy making things that no one else has. I called it my "way out" or way to escape from the stress of work and life while being able to express myself through art. I heard about Etsy from a few friends and started thinking about starting an Etsy store. Finally a friend convinced me that it was a good idea. So I decided to name the store "A Way Out Designs” and offer unique handmade and custom items.
