My wife and I are both glass artists,together own a Bead Store and Studio in Gatlinburg, Tn. The store is 02 Bead Experience, and is a full service bead store with loads of goodies for every type of beader! The studio is named beadxp.com. Inside the studio, we give classes in glass blowing and beadmaking, as well as fusing and Metal Clay work, Susie is a level 3 certified artisan in Precious Metal Clay, and a certified instructor in Art Clay. Glen has been featured in Glass line magazine and has had his artwork exhibited at the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts. Many of our original pieces can be found at the studio and the bead store. Which is located inside the RiverBend Mall at traffic light #3 next to the Hard Rock Cafe downtown Gatlinburg Tennessee. We have been working with the glass medium, for approximatly 17yrs. My wife Susie, Started by working with Stained Glass, then learned the art of making lampwork beads. She took her first class in a small studio in Swartz Creek Michigan, where she bought her stained glass materials. We set up a studio in our basement, then owned a store in Linden Michigan. After vacationing in Gatlinburg, and falling in love with the Mountains and beauty that the area has to offer, We moved to the Great Smoky Mountains and started the store and studio. check out our website www.beadxp.com.
