My name is Krisztina Mozes. From childhood I had an insipiration to craft jewelry, but actually I became a musician with a university graduation as an organist and choir leader. While playing the organ in churches I have always admired the colored light filtered through stained glasses windows.
After being full time mother for a few years with my twin daughters, four years ago I attended to a stained glass crafting course. Hence my first items were wall arts, windows, mirrors, and other home accessories. Next year I went on and started crafting stained glass pendants as well. Somewhat later I have 'discovered' the fascinating world of fused glass. I immediately fell in love with it and soon acquired a programmable kiln for my home studio. I have been crafting and experiencing with fused glass jewelry since. Lately I have extended my interest to fused dishes and plates.
In the last years I took part of several crafter shows and exhibitions in my country. Many of my items are acknowledged by the jury of the Hungarian Institute for Culture and Arts. Last year I started selling online on Etsy. My husband helps me in the business/computer part. Actually the name Krilla is the combination of our surnames (KRIsztina and LAszlo).

Crafting processes

-Stained glass: I choose the glass depending on the transparency/opacity and color requirements. I carefully cut the pieces, grind them and use copperfoil on the pieces. I also use twisted wire for decoration. Then I solder it, I exclusively use lead free solder for jewelry. For certain items I add some patina. Finally I polish and clean the item.

-Fused glass: I choose compatible glasses, which can be melt together without problems. I cut the pieces and carefully form the shape with multiple layers. For jewelry there are usually three layers: base, decoration (eg. dichroic) and a transparent cover, which gives depth. Then I put it into my digitally programmable kiln. Melting in high temperature (around 1500°F) gives shine and smooth shape, the proper annealing gives durability. In certain cases there are three or even more fusing phases. For glueing glass to metal I carefully prepare the surfaces and use two component adhesive.

Payment:
-PayPal only. Hungarian customers can contact me for additional shipping/payment options.
-I have to cancel an order if I don't get payment within a week.

Shipping:
-Items are packaged safely in multiple protective layers of (bubble) wraps and bubble envelope. Most ring, the bigger pendants, bracelets and sets are shipped in a gift box for additional protection.
-Packages are shipped as priority mail. For orders over 50USD I always use registered option (tracking code and delivery confirmation). For other orders I can add registered option for an additional 4USD.
-I can ship on workdays, within 2 days after receiving payment. Shipping takes 5-10 business days for US/overseas, 3-5 for EU, 2-3 for Hungary.

Returns:
-Please contact me if you have any problem. I stand behind my crafts and took responsibility for my own faults. In other cases, returns are generally not possible/feasible, because of the shipping overhead, but we can find a reasonable solution.
