A warm hello from beautiful San Diego! I'm Jennifer. My life revolves around my two littles - whose heart's are BIG and energy is ENDLESS. There is my Husband, too - my biggest supporter. While the hubby goes out to work, I stay at home taking care of the littles and our home. As any mom may know, taking care of children can run you down emotionally (and physically!) at times. This meant I needed a way to rejuvenate!
For me, that's a long, hot shower and some exfoliation! There's something about hot water running over you that just steams away all the stressful things in life, am I right? Then I add in an exfoliating body scrub and my rejuvenating shower turns into a week of soft smooth skin! Exfoliation is a simple pleasure, but it gives me that "brand new woman" feel after a long week of cooking, cleaning and taking care of little ones.
When I make my scrubs there is a lot of pride that goes into it. My kitchen and bathroom became a "sample zone" from trying to come up with the perfect combination of ingredients to get a scrub that was just right. I wanted a scrub that wasn't too oily or greasy but that left my skin soft and moisturized. I didn't want the scrub to be too soft that I didn't feel like I was getting a good enough exfoliation but I didn't want it too coarse and harsh for my skin either. Texture is important to me, too. I didn't want a scrub that was too dry or a scrub that was too liquidy. What I've came up with is the perfect combination of ingredients to exfoliate and moisturize. This wasn't just for myself, but for all the women out there that need to take a moment away from the stresses of life to rejuvenate again!
