The goal of Silly Simone is to create fun custom handcrafted jewelry that inspires you to be creative. We want you to realize it is OK to be a little silly, even in fashion. We want you to be inspired to think outside the box as we provide you with fun, quality jewelry pieces unique to you. We thrive to remain colorful!
It all started in 2013, in a little tiny studio apartment in Brooklyn, New York. The very first handcrafted “Silly Simone” neck piece was created solely to be worn by the founder to a fashion show during fashion week. However, the founder, Alita Hilton-Daniels was approached several times about the piece she was wearing which lead to her idea of sharing them with the world.
Silly Simone is about being bold and unusual with just the right amount of “silly” and a whole lot of fun! The Silly Simone jewelry and brand have grown to become a hot commodity across the globe and can be seen adorning the bodies of people in Australia, China and even Italy. Silly Simone jewelry has also sold out in the gift shops of both the New York Public Library and the Tenement Museum in New York City. A Silly Simone piece was also recently spotted on The Anderson Cooper Show on CNN, where famed activist Michaela Angela Davis wore it with pride. Even Tyrone Hunter, stylist to singer Beyonce, has his own Silly Simone neck piece, which Alita custom created for him. Lets not forget to mention Queen Badu. Yes, Erykah Badu has a couple of Silly Simone neck pieces. She's been spotted wearing them while performing and hanging out.
Silly Simone is about FUN! The more fun you have wearing our pieces the harder we work at being even more creative. Let’s get SILLY together! -Silly Simone
