Pottery: from the earth, by hand. What more could you ask for?
I started doing pottery after my wife blessed me with the gift of a pottery class. It was as if I had found the missing part of my soul...the creative outlet I had been looking for all my life.
I enjoy throwing different forms and styles and using various grades of clay. As a result my pieces tend to range widely in appearance and I like that variety. My hope is that each person who wonders through my shop will find something that interests them.
The one thing that I am trying to do more of is the use of glass in knobs and handles. Finding the right glass with the right affect against the right glaze can result in those 'WOW!' shouts from the kiln room when the lid is lifted and you are greeted with a dazzling result.
I hope that you stop by often and poke around and see what new things have spun off my wheel!
