Hello! I'm Julia and a life long lover of fiber and color. Needle felting is the culmination of every fiber art I've done in my life. I love the smell of lanolin in the wool and the feel of the fibers. At Hamlet's Glen Fiber Art I mainly use wool from different breeds of sheep, but I also use mohair from goats, camel down, angora from rabbits, alpaca fiber and silk. I love creating moveable life-like sculptures, fantasy animals and people. My favorite thing is collaborating with someone to bring their idea to life in wool.
