I've been making and creating things since my childhood, and it has always been just for the enjoyment of doing it, but at the prompting of family and friends I am opening an Etsy shop in the hopes that others may enjoy some of my hobbies.

What do I make? I enjoy taking new modern products and building them in classic materials rather than ABS plastic, PVC, etc. So I have built speakers in cigar boxes, computers in cigar boxes, as well as boxes I have built for the purpose and cases and boxes I find at thrift shops and garage sales.

I enjoy the creation process, especially when I can let the piece take me where it wants to.

Big business and industry want to use a cookie cutter when making products in order to maximize revenues, regardless of how much time and effort you spent searching and searching for just the perfect desk, bookshelf, bedstand, etc. And black ABS plastic doesn't go well with solid hardwood, leather, velvet, etc.

The greatest satisfaction I get is when someone truly appreciates and thoroughly enjoys something I've made.
