We are Jeff and Dale Ocasio, and work collaboratively to create sculpted and digital art expressing an imaginative, storybook spirit.
A large part of our work is figurative sculpture where a world of made up, quirky, imperfect, characters are brought forth and introduced as soon as eye contact is made with them.
Sculpting with paper masking tape over wire and reclaimed objects is where our artwork begins. It’s a unique medium we find extremely liberating. Each sculpture is encased with layers of acid‐free glue, color is added with more layers of acrylics, and protected with matte varnish. Many of our sculptures are documented through our own digital illustrations and animations.
We create, live and play in sunny, slow‐moving SW Florida.
