I was born in Germany. I didn't go to school most months during the War years and it was at this time I learned to knit. After coming to the U.S. with my parents, I obtained an education during this time and had no time for knitting. It was only after my husband and I raised our daughters I started knitting again. My husband and I have been married many years. We both work in the yard, but I love my flowers - mainly pansies and roses. My love of flowers and gardening is what continues to inspire my main hobby of knitting.
